National Intern Day - We Lover Our Interns

The cybersecurity landscape is constantly evolving with enterprises lacking three million cybersecurity professionals, and not enough skilled personnel tops the list of barriers organizations face when securing their web1. These dynamics make the cybersecurity solution landscape an excellent fit for those who find reward in learning and professional growth. The Cequence Security interns of 2022 share what it’s like to work for a leader in Unified API Protection applications.

“Cequence’s marketing team is the epitome of merging all mundane and exciting marketing activities to bring groundbreaking results for the organization! Our Marketing team is fast-paced and results-oriented. Here, I’m training to be a leader, to take on the wheel! The importance given to mentorship is immense. I have had the excellent opportunity to understand the thought process of decision-makers in the industry, the goals that our C-suite works on, and insights into how what I do in marketing affects them all! Thank you for “securing” me a place of my own to grow with you!”

“Working with CQ Prime Team this summer is nothing short of an immersive experience. Team members are very friendly and approachable. There is a sense of freedom and acceptance as well as the encouragement of new ideas when it comes to handling any challenges. Working and contributing to this organization and team has been a great learning curve in not only the API Security space but also Security in general.”

Bhargavi RaoBhargavi Rao, Engineering Intern

“As an engineering intern, I’ve been working on a project that I find to be extremely fascinating. Each day I am learning more about the significance of protecting billions of APIs under one umbrella. At Cequence, I am assigned tasks that have challenged me and provided me the opportunity to put my classroom skills to the test in real-world circumstances. Working in a team here is always fun as we can share ideas quickly and work together easily. I can honestly say that I am learning something new every day as an intern, and I am happy with the direction I am headed in life.”

Elliot TuchshcererElliot Tuchshcerer, CQ Prime Intern

“The internship at Cequence with the CQPrime threat research team has been one of the best learning opportunities I have had so far. I got the opportunity to view, hunt, and even act upon malicious attack traffic attempting account takeovers, scraping, scalping, and several other attacks. I even got to meet most of the team in person, and I can say that all of them were eager to help me understand concepts I did not have much experience with, a pleasure to work with, and just genuinely nice and funny people. This is an experience I will never forget, and I am incredibly grateful for it.”

Aditya MehtaAditya Mehta, Data Science Intern

“As part of Cequence’s Data Science team, I am encouraged to investigate and pursue novel ideas. I can see how my work in real-time detection helps in the never-ending fight against bots. Working with innovative machine learning models in such a fast-paced and challenging environment has trained me to analyze problems carefully and quickly construct plans that lead to success. It helped me come into my own as a researcher. The mentorship has been incredible at each step of this journey, and I cannot thank my fellow Cequencers enough for giving me a place to grow and expand my horizons.”

Vaibhav SatijaVaibhav Satija, Marketing Intern

“Being a recent addition to the Cequence family, my experience has only just begun but I already feel that there are a lot of things coming my way. Everyone here is really welcoming and I am very glad to be a part of this wholesome company. I hope to grow as an individual and learn as much as I can in my time here as these skills will be extremely handy in the future. Cequence provides us, interns, with a fantastic platform to embark on our journey with a limitless horizon that helps us realize our potential and go above and beyond to get things done in the best possible manner. Looking forward to the unexpected and preparing for it too!”

Garima Garima, QA InternGarima Garima

“Interning at Cequence security has been a marvelous experience. Working as a QA intern in the API Spyder team has been a different experience. The team is very supportive and has motivated me throughout my coursework. There are a lot many things that I have learned about APIs & their Security. “Just ask questions without thinking whether they are silly or not” – is something my team instilled in the beginning. I have learned and practiced new tools & technologies within the internship span. I have discovered one very introductory life lesson: ‘Keeping room for learning new stuff daily will help you acquire greater heights.”

Thank You!

We’re grateful for what each intern has brought to the table as team members and proud of what they have achieved through their projects and daily responsibilities. There is a lot to learn in this space, and each met every challenge head-on. We could not ask for a better group of interns.

We appreciate and enjoy working with all of you every day, but since today is National Intern Day, you deserve a shout-out!
